  • 8:00 am - Registration Begins
  • 9:00 am - Welcome, Keynote - Stormwater, Salmon, and the Health of Puget Sound by Dr. Nathaniel Scholz, NOAA
  • 10:30 am - complimentary morning snack
  • 10:45 am - Morning Session begins
  • noon - Exhibits staffed by state and local experts will be available for browsing. The LEP Gift Shop table will offer many appropriate items for purchase, including the canvas bag and t-shirt shown at right.
  • Noon-1:30 - Lunch, Exhibits
  • 1:30 pm - First Afternoon Session begins
  • 2:45 pm - complimentary afternoon snack
  • 3:00 pm - Second Afternoon Session begins
  • Note: At 7:00 pm, there will be a free showing of A Sea Change, an award winning film on ocean acidification (Coupeville United Methodist Church, 7pm, sponsored by Island County Marine Resources Committee).
  • Note: On Sunday afternoon, February 7th, at 2pm, the Clyde Theatre in Langely will be showing "Beneath the Salish Sea - An Underwater Odyssey through Puget Sound" by Sound Waters presenter, Florian Graner.

  • Registration is in the 'Annex', easily accessible from either parking area.
  • Please allow sufficient time for parking, picking up your registration materials, and enjoying a cup of coffee or tea before the keynote.

To find fellow attendees interested in car pooling, meet at of one the following locations:
  • 7:00 Camano - Terry's Corner
  • 7:30 Langley - Bayview Park and Ride
  • 7:40 Freeland - Trinity Lutheran
  • 7:50 Greenbank Farm
  • 7:50 Oak Harbor - Albertsons (by glass recycling bins)
If you would like to carpool from another location, please contact us and we will add your meeting time/location to this list.
 
Port Townsend/Keystone ferry passengers: contact us so that we can arrange transportation for you from Keystone to Coupeville.

  • We are working to make Sound Waters plastics free!
  • Please try to bring a coffee mug or other reusable drink container.
  • We will also have a supply of compostable cups for coffee, tea and water available throughout the day.
