Fishing since 1965, Neal began fly fishing Pacific species after he moved to Whidbey Island in 1993. He has caught every species of Pacific salmon, as well as steelhead and sea run cutthroat, on the fly off Whidbey Island beaches. One day Neal hopes to find a spot where he can catch rock fish from the beaches or maybe a cliff somewhere.
