- Nancy Conard
- Nancy Conard is in her fourth term as mayor of the Town of Coupeville. She is chair of the Island County Council of Governments. She represents the Town at the LID Summit with Whidbey Island Conservation District and on the Island County Climate Change Coalition.
- Jim Slowik
- A native of Detroit, Michigan, Mayor Slowik is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a graduate of the University of Detroit. Mayor Slowik has been in business for 37 years, ranging from being the Vice President and Director of a regional bank to owning a franchised auto dealership. He currently is a licensed independent auto dealer in Oak Harbor. Mr. Slowik is serving his first term as Mayor of Oak Harbor. He has served his community in several capacities: • Oak Harbor School Board, 5 year member and served 2 terms as President from 1997 to 1999. • Chaired the Oak Harbor Stadium Bond Resolution that resulted in a new athletic complex at the Oak Harbor High School. • Served 3 terms as chair of the Oak Harbor School District Maintenance and Operations Levies from 1992 to 1995. • Island Thrift Board Member from 1997 to present. • Past President Oak Harbor Rotary. • Past President North Whidbey Lions. • Life member of the Oak Harbor Council, Navy League of the United States. Mayor Slowik currently serves on the following committees: • Island County Board of Health • Island Communications • Island County Council of Governments • Regional Transportation Planning Organization • Sustainable Whidbey Steering Committee • Island County Housing Authority In 1971, he married the former Candy Culver.
