 Jen Kingfisher
A life-long environmental educator, Jen graduated from Evergreen State College, and worked in the field of environmental education for well over five years, teaching science to students of all ages, in the outdoors in wild places all over the West. Jen's summers were spent working in the wilderness, working on trails and as a ranger. Jen then went on to pursue a masters degree in biology at Humboldt State University, focusing on botany and plant ecology. Upon earning her degree, Jen taught botany and biology to University and Community college students. Jen joined Port Townsend Marine Science Center as a Marine Program Educator in the summer of 2008, focusing on plastics in the marine environment.
