Joe has worked for Island County Environmental Health for the past year following his graduation from Portland State University with a B.A. in Community Health Education. A new Island County resident, Joe arrived here about a year ago from Portland, Oregon where he was born and raised. It has been a sort of homecoming moving to Island County since his parents have lived here for 14 years, his sister and family have been here for 4 years and his grandmother just moved to the Island several months ago. Joe studied Public Health Education which led him to work for Island County Public Health. His favorite ice cream is Cookies n' Cream and he loves to work off those calories by walks in the county and biking around town.
